The latest Flat Iron in Waterloo, London. The restaurant is spread across three originally separate units, joined by large openings through the structural brick walls that divide them. This creates three distinct areas that have their own character, allowing diners an intimate experience whilst still experiencing the atmosphere of the wider restaurant.

The design uses the function of Flat Iron as its concept and elevates the service of the restaurant and what they provide for their customers.
The water stations have been formed from antique furniture and a decorative, bespoke filter tap added. Ice cream and popcorn machines are situated in key focal points and again are elevated by the beautiful and authentic antique furniture that has been adapted to fit the purpose.
The finishes are a contrast of new and old, glossy and rough.
Brightly coloured, highly glossy tiles, in decorative patterns are situated adjacent to the existing brick walls we discovered under the original finishes. The original herringbone floor has been given a new lease of life and the green ceilings tie the spaces together. This contrast creates a contemporary, fresh space that is still routed in the character and texture of the original building. Reminiscent of a faded London pie shop given a new lease of life.
